Default rear swaybar

i did a ls1 swap, will my v6 rear sway bar be able to handle the 6-speed rear?

It should be the same 10-bolt rear in your car as an LS1 powered f-body, so I don't see why it wouldn't physically bolt up to your rear. I'm not sure if they're the same size though. Stock on LS1's is 19mm diameter rear bar. Take a caliper to your stocker and see what the diameter is.

The drivetrain has no impact on the swaybar itself whatsoever. Different rears may need different mounting brackets to make it fit and such, but the bar is the same. The anti-sway bar's job is to resist the car from leaning during a turn. That's "pretty much" it.

You can also use a stiffer rear bar for the dragstrip to keep the car from twisting away from the rear end on hard launches for a straighter launch.
