Defective windshield?
So the 92 and the 98 got windshield cracks durinig a tornado 2 months ago, finaly last week I got around to getting them replaced.
As soon as I sat in the 98, I knew something was wrong, it felt like I was wearing someones perscription glasses. Just sitting in the car I can't read the shell sign 1 block away, get out, and I can see it fine. Its very clear, but its refracting the light unevenly. 20 mins of driving, already started getting a headache.
If you are driving, or just move your head up and dow, you can see two waves in the glass, one horizontal right in the middle, one diagonal from the right a-pilar to the tip of the left wiper.
Is this because I only paid 300$? Is there a place to get a good factory windshield? Has this happened to anyone else?

Mine has a slight, barely noticable wave in the center, but not diagonal that I can tell. I've gone through 2 replacements, both PPG, and they seem better than the original. What brand is yours? Can't hurt to ask the people who installed it about another replacement, esp. if it makes you sick and it's blurry.

I would have the shop replace it again.
Should be just as good as the original.

You should call the glass company back and tell them you have a distortion in the glass. Its not very often that it happens but it does every now and then. They shouldnt hasstle with you, but they will probly say there all like that. You just need to stick to your guns and tell them you want a new one, they can get there money back for the distortion glass so all there out is labor.
good luck.
