Default Help - what's this

During the install of my FMIC kit from Epp I discovered what appears to be a pump that is half connected and disconnected. One of the inlets had a hose that had been cut and that at one time was strung along the driver side along the shock tower strut and to the back of the motor. If this stuff was disconnected it would have been by the installer who did my heads/cam or the installer who installed the ATI Procharger?

Some of the inlets and outlets are open. So if it's supposed to be working don't know how it can.

Can all of it be removed and if so what about the small vaccumn lines and electrical connections that are still installed?

It's the device just topside and between the small K&N filter for the bypass valve and the large K&N filter for the ATI charger.
