what are people using for springs on 1st gens?
and hey shitty, i did use the search button.....
i origanally hadd a big block in my 68 and when i rebuilt the front suspesion i used big block springss, natuarually.
and now it sits way too high and too stiff with the all aluminum engine in it.
so io was planning on useing 2 in drop spindles but that would still leave it reallly stiff.
so what arew use guys using?

I'm running an LS1/T56, with ATS mounts, using PST smallblock springs in the front and brand new PST 5-leafs (well, 8 yrs old, but never installed them until now) in the back. Eyeballing it, the front looks about 1/2 high right now. The front should be about 2" lower than that with these springs. Once I finally get around to buying and installing AC, I'll go weigh the car (front/rear/whole), measure the spring height at the current ride height, and hit up both the suspension gurus on camaros.net and some spring vendors for recommendations.

I originally had my QA1 coilover setup with BB spings and had the same problem. Swapped them for SB springs and then it finally sat right. I think BB springs are too stiff for LSX motors, but better to ask a suspension guru.
