Default electronic transmission shifting

Using LS1 engine with edelbrock LS1 carberator set-up and 4L60e tranny into 67-corvette. What is needed for propper tranny shifting, ie. speed sensor, park neutral switch, range selector, when using this induction set-up? What needs to happen as far as computer connections for electronic tranny shifting and what connections need to be made? Thanks, John

If you are using the 4l60e you will need a computer to control it. You will need the VSS and possibly a throttle position sensor, possibly even more.

For the computer the easiest way would be to use one of the aftermarket transmission controllers (I think TCI makes one) You may be able to use the factory computer but it would require a lot of programming if it is even possible.

Or, just switch to a 700R4, which would be cheaper and easier. The standalone controllers as expensive!
