oil is too thick?

Question oil is too thick?

i have 5w 30 right now in my ls1 is it okay if i stick in a quart of 10w 30?

This is an owners manual question! 5-30 is preferred but as long as the outside air temp is above 0 deg F 10-30 is ok. As per owners manual section 6.

Either oil is fine.

I run 0W40 myself, without issues.

BTW, I'm moving this to General Maintenance......
