Ok I have narrowed it down to a 80mm BBK or 78mm FAST throttle body for my LS6 intake in my 99 T/A. What are the opinions of the guys who have used them? I know alot of the guys are having the stock tb ported but are the porting companies putting a larger throttle blade in them. I do plan to open up my intake (78 or 80 mm) to match the larger throttle blade

I have a ported stocker, it works well and it's a lot cheaper than a BBK or FAST throttle body. You can get your stocker ported for $75. I'd really like to see a BBK vs ported stock TB dyno comparison.

Save your money and just port the stock one or have it ported. And no they don't change out the throttle blades

i got the bbk and i love it. i felt a big difference afterwards.
