K, in this link is what I have, does this mount in front of the a/c and if it does do you pull off the plastic cover in front of the a/c?

You remove the complete ls1 air box off and you will see where it fits.....It does go in front of the radiator and you have to cut the lower air box to allow the air to get through.

to be quite honest,,i just removed the black plastic cover that you are supposed to cut to allow the CIA access,,,,be careful when placing the CIA onto the car, before you position and screw it down,,it will scratch your paint if you move it around in the air tunnel from the welds on the CIA duct.
