Say - at least your going to one bad-*** aircraft carrier! Thats gotta be better than pounding the dirt somewhere....
And, yeah, Norfolk ain't that bad, either. Just don't beleive all of the 'keep off the grass' stories you hear about the place. Good Luck!

No problem, I guess. It is always wierd for me to hear that since I am still in a "student" status and haven't even made it to the fleet. But we always do appreciate kind words no matter what. Just say a pray for all my family and friends deployed as well as the many others working so hard at FREEDOM.
On another note I got in touch with my ship today and I got a little excited, it's gonna be a huge since of relief and shock when I get there. I saw pics of this giant, I'm gonna be lost for months...
