i used to...hooker headers into hooker ypipe and a catback....pretty much just all hooker....cutouts came out right behind the door....loud as ****, no sound quality though...also i dont think its a good decision bc i dont think i was getting enough, if any backpressure, and at full throttle it would sometimes kill itself...once i changed the setup it quit doing that....

not worth it. check ls1sounds.com for sound clips. i had dual cut outs after cats on my old set up loud as hell sound cool for going to car meets, but unbarible inside the car, too much noise and ratttling. oh and on back pressure on the dyno it make 358whp (witch is the most my car ever dyno'd) but only any were from 290-315wTQ.

Kind of hard to see them here (they are tucked really well and hidden behind the TrakPak), they are dual SS QTP cutouts tapped into a KOOKS stainless ypipe just after the collectors, in closed they go through a Dynomax SS xpipe then Dynomax race mufflers, I picked up 18rwhp and about the same torque @GForce on their dyno open Vs. closed. Not sure what stock cubes would pick up with open dual cutouts, guessing around 10rwhp equal torque.

i never said i thought i lost power that way... i felt it made more in higher rpms and had very little low end power.....

i changed my setup to a single cutout through huttos stainless ypipe....
