Default Washing my ls1 motor

I got a ls1 motor on a engine stand and want to know what to tape up before washing it. I also have the whole wireing harness off. So i was kind of worried about all the connectors. Thanks

you will want to tape up all electrical connections if not remove them and temporarily seal the holes/ electrodes ...but are you scrubbing it soap and water/ steam? pressure washer? depends on the amount of force i would think...also do yourself the favor and remove any coil packs or electrical instruments guages..etc...

is it that dirty? wrap electronics parts up and leave the engine running while you spray the cleaner and water. this was how they did it when i paid $75 to have it done. however he didn't wrap anything up like i'd asked him to, that ******.
