I just installed a 224/228 .636/.639 cam with PRC 2.5 heads and a FAST 90 setup. How much more power would I put to the wheels after I get a better clutch? Also, how long would the stock clutch last?

If it didn't slip... you'd probably put more power down? Most aftermarket clutches are heavier then stock. More inertia to overcome and more powerloss... I might be mistaken on weight thing though. I'd imagine it varies with each clutch.
I'd imagine with a set of stick tires you'd row through that clutch REAL fast.

damn bro, and your car is a 99 so u dont even have the ls6 clutch. hmm....it will not hold that power....and if it does...not for long. the ls7/ls2 kit is a popular one for n/a ls1 motors. ls7 clutch with ls2 flywheel i think...??? a lot of guys are happy with that setup. personally, i wouldnt waste my time. id go textralia and not look back. didnt u figure in the clutch thing when you were building the top end of the motor and intake?

My high mile stocker lasted 6 roll on WOT blasts in first to second to third, and on my 2nd dig from a light, it was slip city. I also have a 99. I wouldn't expect it to last long at all. I went with a Spec 3.
