HP not getting any reading from LC-1?
I posted this on HP Tuners, but no response so far.
I am setting up my LC-1 through the EIO of a Pro unit, but when scanning, HP doesn't seem to get a reading. It doesn't read zero, there just is no reading at all. Leads me to think I'm missing something in my set up.
Logworks operates fine and I get a good solid accurate reading of the AFR.
I've read over threads for the past couple of hours, but I can't see where I'm doing something wrong.
Here's what I've done:
1. I have the Brown wire (Analog 2) from the LC-1 connected to pin 1 of EIO
2. Green from LC-1 is connected to pin 5 (ground) of EIO
3. Using LM Programmer, I set voltage to 0 -> 10 AFR and 5 -> 18 AFR.
4. In LM Programmer, under advanced table I set speed to 1/6th (then Program)
5. In HP, I am using chart #2. I set up the 4th parameter as AFR, and under the options, went to the AUX list and selected WB LC-1.
6. Enabled the parameter for the chart.
I get no reading at all through my scans. I am not certain if I have missed a step somewhere or done something wrong, but if anyone can see a flaw, please let me know.
Thanks in advance.

Well, Bill from HP solved it I think. Very fast too.
The key issue is in my step #5. I was enabling the WB through the chart display, as thats the table I use most often - apparently you cannot do that. It has to be through the TABLE display. This is in the HELP menu under custom PIDs.
I am not at home, so don't have the laptop to test it, but that sounds likely the solution.
I will add to this thread once I confirm this is the solution, just in case anyone else ever makes this mistake.
