Is it ok to grind a little off the torque arm for exhaust clearance??

Is it ok to grind a little off the torque arm for exhaust clearance?? Im installing TSP true duals next week. I can remember from my last car that the TSP system sits really close to the stock torque arm. Is it ok to grind a little off the torque arm so I can tuck the exhaust up a little higher?

You might be able to get away with it, but you'll probably be grinding a pinch weld or a fold or something in which case you might want to have it welded after you make the grind.
I make no promises it won't ever fail, but neither does GM
