+1 on the melling or get one of the TSP ported LS6 units. I run a stock LS6 and have good pressure all of the time (it never drops to less than 50+ hot w/5w-30w)

Is the melling a clean sheet design, or is it just a copy of the LSx(LS1,LS2,LS6, not LS4) series oil pumps?

And is it built with better parts and higher tolerances than a stock pump? Will reliability be high?

EDIT: They also seem to be priced very competative at about $140 w/o shipping! So if they are of higher quality(site says CNC and some design enhancements) it will be worth it....
