ls1 question. top speed 120? 99 m6 z28

Default ls1 question. top speed 120? 99 m6 z28
car is a 99 m6 z28. 0 mods. shuts off @ 120mph. Is this normal. My '00 formula m6 did not. I tried in 4th gr. an 5th....same deal...anyone wanna tell me something I should prob. already know...thanks

Car had to have came new without Z rated tires so the lower speed limiter.

spoke with friend and looked @ the door.....Car did come with 235/55 16s stock..so did have 118mph limiter...thanks....my bad
