ok i have (3)o2 sensors. is this correct
car is 2001 ls1 t/a
my exhaust has 4 o2 sensors bungs. but my car def only came with 3 on it

Something's incorrect...is it the stock exhaust? What do you mean when you say there's 4 bungs but only 3 sensors, is one bung just sitting on the pipe open with no sensor in it?

Sounds like the previous owner swapped a bad front o2 out with one from the rear or even had a wideband o2 in the rear and then removed it before the sale. I take it the empty bung has a plug and no codes?

i have slp long tubes and slp y pipe i have4 o2 bungs all together
car was bone stock when i got it
when i did exhaust swap there was only 3 o2 sensors but i wasnt thorwing a code
i switched exhaust now code-there is no wiring etc or anything to put another sensor on. i have a o2 sensor in each header and then one on the y pipe

You should have 2 separate electrical plugs for your rear o2's after the cats. Look again and see if it's tied up out of the way with zip-ties. Sometimes you'll find o2 sims plugged in. If your car truly was stock then somethings very weird here.

i have a hole in my slp y pipe with no 02 sensor in it. my stock exhaust only had 3 02 sensors. but i got a SES light when i put my slp long tubes on and y pipe gmmg catback.
i have tranny out right now. there is not a 4th place to have another 02 sensor
