Default Underdrive pulley?

Are Underdrive pulley's gonna hurt your car in the long run? I'm about to buy one but wasn't sure how bad it messes with the voltage of the car on the alternator. I don't have a sub or amp in the car just an aftermarket radio. I read up on this and it seems like mixed opinions, but it also looks like just about everyone has the pulley. should i look into deleting one of the other pulley's from the same belt?

i've had underdrive pullies on my last 3 cars...no problems.

if i'm at idle, with the radio on, lights on and fans blowing...i notice a drop in voltage. but once i'm above idle...no problems.

IMHO, an underdrive pulley is not worth the trouble. You can pick up 10 easy horsepower elsewhere. You may only feel it at about 5500 RPM anyway.

You can get the alternator pulley too so its rpm stays the same.

just get a pulley after u gwt everything else
a pulley should be one of your last bolt ons along with an electris water pump. Both will free up some power but they are both on the high price. They are good mods for 2 kind of people
1 u have every other bolt on and still want some more power but dont want to touch your motor

Or

2you want every last hp u can obtain even if it cost u600 bucks for 5 hp
