Default DRL module causing front turn signal failure?

hi guy's,

longtime TA owner here with a question about a 98 TA with the following DRL and front turn signal problems.

My search keeps timing out so here it goes.

The DRL's only work with the headlights on however, the front turn signals do not light up at all and do not work with the EM flashers.

The rear signals will light up and work with the EM flashers and manually from the column.

I've cleaned out the sockets and and have changed out the bulbs to no avail.

Can't seem to understand how I have power to the DRL's with the headlights on and no power to the DRL's or turn signals without?

Could that problem be caused by the sockets?

Thinking about replacing the sockets next but I seem to remember reading that this condition could have something to do with a failed DRL module.

Any other ideas based on these symptoms before I need to go that route?

Thank you for your assistance.
