Default Just getting started with my new toy...

Hey all, i just got myself a 2000 Trans Am WS-6 and let me just say, i love it. I figure I will ask all of you that read this, what i should start with in my car. i want to hit about 400 horsepower, i hear its pretty easy with heads and a cam. If you guys can help me out and give me simple guidelines and pricing that would be awesome! I figure you guys are the best to ask! I look forward to hearing some suggestions

400 RWHP I assume -

As said above, read all that you can before you go out and spend a bunch of money on parts that may not work well together.

not a daily driver, nice days only really, i have a 98 ram with the 8.0L V10 for all bad weather and such. ill do some reading for sure, the thing with this, i have knowledge of the LS1 and mechanical skill. its like the old adage, measure twice, cut once. i want that to apply to the car, many people on this site have tried different ways to gain power, i just want opinions from others to see how everything went. reccomendations and such

400 at the flywheel and 12s are easy...just do bolt ons...
if its an auto do gears and a stall.....you dont need heads or cam to run 12s....the stock longblock is easily capable of that....
