What is an off-road y-pipe?

Default What is an off-road y-pipe?

I know it has something to do with the way your exhaust system is configured, but can someone explain exactly what it is, what components are used, and maybe a pic or 2 of this kind of set up?

basically its off road because it has no catalyic converters

these usually come with a sticker or sign the states for off road use only thus why they are call off road y-pipes

picture a y-pipe without cats

if you have any sort of strict emissions law (ie. California) dont buy an off road y-pipe

me personally i love the sound of catless exhaust i personally think exhaust is louder without it. i have a set of pacesetter headers racestyle (no egr or air) and off road y-pipe

say no to emissions

i believe u can still pass emissions without cats .. if u have no visual
