i got an m6 car with the stock shifter, (ballhead) often when i am trying to shift is as fast as i can i just dont hit 3rd gear rigth and ruin the run.. it just doesn't get in the geear unless i shift it slower,

my friend has an 02 M6 with the Hurzt shifter and its even worse.. i was racing it on a track to nigth and took my best 60f ever on a F body and missed 3rd and ruin the run.. and i am furius!!

what is the issues with 3rd gear? any others had this?!? my car has the ls7 clutch and his car got the .. horrable spec3 crap

Mine did the same from 2nd to 3rd gear. I did the drill Mod. There is a small plastic restriction in the master cylinder. When u try to engage it under high rpms it occurs. Go to installuniversity.com They can tell u how to fix it.

consider a Pro 5.0 shifter if you haven't already...2nd to 3rd gear is nothing
