Default B&M M6 shifter with a shorter stick?

Is it possible to put a shorter shifter in with the B&M? Or is it better just to cut off what I want it to? Thanks

I agree and was just talking today with a buddy of mine about the same thing. There seems to be a split just above the bend on the shifter stick, looks like it might be detachable??? I've tried to unscrew it ,but nothing. I have thought the same thing your bringing up. Anyone else???

I have seen at the bend were it does look like to pieces but who knows. I dont think it comes apart though. It looks as if I am just going to cut it. I think I am going to take about 1 1/2" off.
