ok. Strange situation. I bought a 1998 z28 camaro from a friend at work. After a year in a shop getting about $10,000 in upgrades the transmission took a crap. He gave up on it and now its mine. (still sitting at the shop) I ordered a new mega raptor for it which should be here in a few days. The shop told me that there was an oil leak coming from somewhere between the flywheel and the back of the block. Keep in mind Ive never messed with an Ls1 and I have not thrown it on a lift to see for myself. I was told that it was most likely a rear cover seal so I ordered one from thunderracing.

Im going to tow the car to a lift once the transmission arrives but Id like to have the seal\seals availible. Ive also read a lot about special tools needed for cover alignment. Can someone tell me which tools are needed (or are they) and where I can find them? Any help, links, pics, advice, experience greatly appreciated!!
