Default Would you buy it?

I'm considering buying a 99 Z28, M6 hardtop. The only thing that makes me think twice is the 140K miles the car has. The guy wants a reasonable price, and I haven't looked at the car. Would you all be scared off by the miles? If not, what should I look for when I go check it out?

Don't be scared of the mileage so much, these are good motors. How REASONABLE of a price are we talking about here.

Ask him when the last time he changed the rear end fluid. Make sure there are no odd squeeks or noises, make sure tranny doesn't whine at high rpm. Things like that,5600 isn't too bad,140k miles isn't much on a well treated car. How old is the guy you buying it from?

I'd rather take my chances on one of the police interceptors with 100k than that. Plus you can snag one every once and a while for 4500 or so

Honestly, I would pass on it. Too high for me. Who knows how it was driven. Probably wasnt driven hard, sounds like some hwy miles on it. But, I wouldnt buy it, too many other f bods out there with lower miles for a decent price.
