Engine Removal
Anyone have access to the motor pulling thread in LT1 Newbie tech? I cant get into it for some reason. Im back home and my time frame is all jacked up, so while i was sitting up i was gonna get started pulling the motor. But go figure, I cant get in to that walk through. Time to yank the motor, but dunno where to start!

The best way I've found of getting those engines out is to remove everything in front of the engine ( radiators and such ) unhook everything from the engine, attach your cherry picker to the radiator support, put a floor jack against the oil pan, take the shock tower bolts out, take the driveline loose, and lower that baby to the ground crossmember , tranny and all!
Then of course lift the car away from the engine and there you go.
