Phoenix area CRUISE - AUG. 11th Saturday
K guys... I'd like to get a cruise started up this weekend on Saturday at some time... Since i'm new to the area I have no clue what/where a good cruise would be but let's get something going before it gets too late...
let's get some ideas going...
It would be cool to have a cruise and then for those that wanted, go to Speedworld that evening afterwards...

...or you can meet up with them where I am.
off of 87 on Shea blvd in Fountain Hills around 10am.
they want to leave there by 11 to get to Payson by noon.
to get there from surprise get on the loop 101 north/east.
follow that all the way around the top part of the loop.
then you will be heading south.
through the Scottsdale area watch out for the speed cameras.
get off at Shea and make a left to head east towards the 87.
this map should help... the red area is where the cameras are.
if you need more info there is a ton on azfba.com
look under the events section, you don't have to be a member to view it.
or shoot me a PM and I can help you figure out a better way for you to get there.

Slalom Speed: 63.4 mph
Dodge Stealth/Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4 Twin Turbo
Skidpad: .90g
Slalom Speed: 63.7 mph
Toyota Supra Twin Turbo
Skidpad: .94g
Slalom Speed: 66.1 mph
Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am WS6
Skidpad: .87g

and a few other cars that belong in this comparison

Chevrolet Camaro Z28 SS

ALSO, I believe the C5's were rated around .91 on the skidpad.
