Default looking for a ls1 what should i know?

im getting ready to list my wrangler for sale to buy a ls1... im not too picky it just has to be a 6 speed and have low miles... about 50k
is there anything i should look for or watch out for in a f body?

Make sure the windows work properly. The window motors GM puts in their cars tend to go out easily, especially on F-Bodies.

Also make sure the headlight motors don't "blink" and make a grinding sound when you lock/unlock the car. (Trans Am)

I would try to get a unmodified car, and avoid 1998 get a 01-02 they have Lil better intakes

I agree with trying to find an unmodified car or one with very few mods, but avoiding a 98? I have heard this too many times. They run just as well, just have a few little quirks to them which aren't big deals. The intake thing isn't a big deal either. Those can be had for fairly cheap. I would find what you want, 6 speed and around 50k, and get the one that is the best deal. No matter what year it is. Hope the search goes well for you.
