Default Radiator Hose Blows off!

Ive got a friend with a 98 WS6 that keeps blowing the lower radiator hose off when it sits and idles for awhile. It did it twice last year during the summer/early fall, but we put new hoses on it and it hasnt done it since till now. What could be the problem? We also replaced the radiator cap the first time thinking that could be not letting pressure out but it didnt help.

With any coolant issue in these cars a good first step is to check for air in the system. If you've never bled the cooling system before look in your owners manual, it will tell you how. Not sure if that could cause a hose to pop off, but it doesn't hurt to check.
