Default HELP with timing stuff

i know there are a million post going around but maybe somebody can help
i have tuned some turbo cars with a FAST setup and some turbo cars with TECII

the problem i am having is what timing tables to change with ls1 edit i am logging with efilive5 mass air reads 454 at wot anywhere from 10000-12000 on the mass air when i convert that it comes out to being like 1.0-1.2 gms/cyl

so i go to the rpm/gms in the high octane table change those #'S UP OR DOWN +/- 8 DEGREES it would only change the timing on the log about 2 degrees (FYI the log says 14.5 at 12 psi vortech)

this is tirbrnr 5.3 truck it made 451hp lastnight with 100 octane and only 14.5 degress of timing with a rich 11.8 a/f no intercooler

thanks for any help

The program runtime could either be referencing the low octane table instead of the high octane table, or the IAT's could be high enough that you are pulling out a good bit of timing.

This seems to be a real problem with the trucks. For some reason LS1edit doesn't work very well when trying to change the timing. A few others have reported having this problem also.

I'm about to try and adjust my timing on my truck for WOT. Anything over 27 degrees and it starts knocking. Wish me luck

John
