G5X-2 Install A Success!!!
jmX and I tore into it last nite around 10:00, got it all unbuttoned and the G5X-2 in. Finished it up today and.... DAMN!!! It sounds badass! The dual Rev springs were a bit of a PITA, but all in all, it went rather smoothly. jmX documented the entire install, and I would imagine he will have it up on his site www.ls1howto.com shortly. We documented several different methods and tools for doing a cam install with the heads left on the car.
The car is cooling off now after its first heat cycle. I can't wait to get it through the heat cycling process and unleash THE BEAST.
HUGE THANKS to Jon for supplying his garage, tools, and expertise.
Thanks to Pat for his helping hand and the portable a/c unit.
...and Craig... Thanks for not dying on us. :p
I've gone smilie crazy! Time for some

I'll try to get some sound clips this weekend.
Its cooling down now after its second heat cycle. The idle is around 750 with the TB drilled out 7/32". How much would it raise the idle if I drilled it out to 1/4"?
