Default About to get a 2000 Camaro SS... New mods?

Hey... sort of new to the modding world... I'm about to buy a 2000 Camaro SS. I'm just wondering what the first mods should be and maybe a little more importantly... is there any way to get more horses for a fairly cheap price? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Do the "free mods" they are good for 10-12RWHP.

Alright, that's what I've been generally hearing. But let's just say for giggles later down the line... will I ever be able to put forced induction on it. I know it's supposed to be NA and all that , but I mean c'mon, nobody can argue with more horses. Also, I have seen a few TA's with superchargers on them. If I did that to the SS... how much will that run me including everything, and how much horse am I looking to gain? Oh... and will GM forgive me?

+1 on the SLP flow pack kit - very good quality.

Saw a sweet S/C system in GM High Tech Mag, but can't seem to find the article.

Should pick up 125hp for $5K.

I'm thinking about it as well, but mine is too clean to cut into. So I'm looking into the heads, cam and headers as well as a C5R or LS7 7.0L swap.

Or you can do heads, cam and headers for less. I like the driveability of the supercharger. I had one on my S/C'd Regal 3800, we modded it, but it was a V6 until you got on it.

Should be tame until you get on it. Keep us posted!
