So a friend of mine asked: If i had a choice between the C5 and a 98-02 Trans Am, which would I go with? Its really hard to say but i wanted to hear you guys' opinions... thanks

I have raced MANY c5's and they have all been slower...with similar mods that is. It depends on what you are racing and who is driving. The C5 parts seem to be a lot more expensive and I had the choice between the two when i bought this trans am. I drove both and I just like the way my fbody drives, its a little more fun to drive and I can throw a couple more people in it if I have to. Its all about personal preference. Performance wise they are very close. You see what I prefer.....

To be quite honest, I was asking myself that question when I first started my search for a WS6.
I decided on the WS6 for a couple of reasons:
1. The WS6 just looks more "muscular"
2. The performance isn't that far apart from one another. And the T/A is about $10K cheaper.
3. Backseat. I have kids and we all like to go to cruises and car shows together.
Now I just have to find one at the right price.

Trans Am without a doubt. i'm not a one sided kinda guy. i like some mustangs if that tells you anything. but i do not like vette's too much at all. zo6's are pretty cool though.
