m6 pops out of 4th gear on soft shifts???? like the title says car is 2000 SS m6 if you shift soft into 4th gear and let the clutch out it will just slip out, almost like the gear isnt engaging, if you shift it hard or fast it goes right in without a problem, trans doesnt grind in any gears. any help (shifter?? it has the hurst factory shifter) maybe shift fork???

It is more likely internal transmission & a tear down/inspection rebuild senerio is gonna have to be done.
The 3/4 fork is common ailment. There is an updated steel one to replace the ole aluminumn OE piece is a must on a T-56 rebuild.
