I'm not sure what tube you are referring to. Got any pics?

What year? TA? Camaro? (Not like the car makes much of a difference).. Where is the Tube? The center of the vehicle or the rear? How big is it?

I have a simple capped valve for the rear vent.. The trans vent for the T56 is a hose that has a ssimilar valve vent going to the top of the fire wall.

If your car is an A4 (auto), and it is a small black tube near the front of the TA (near tranny) then it is a vent tube for the tranny. There is a small metal clip that usually holds the end of the tube along the top edge of your TA.

haha yeah now I remember. It was there when I had the A4 and I remember pulling it out. Doesn't it have a red plug on it that's really loose?
