severe RPM drops when coming to a stop... mostly with A/C on when I come to a stop with the A/C on, I notice (at night) the RPM's dip and the lights dim slightly then go back, but the RPM's dip from about 8-9ish to 5ish, hover then slowly go back up to 6-7...
not sure what the cause of it is, the battery is from 01, and basically sits in the heat every day for hours upon hours on end... so that was my first thought, but since it only happens when the A/C is on and it effects my RPM levels more than anything, I figured I'd ask and see if there was anyone with similar problems that were fixed, before I go out and spend a load of money on an Optima battery

Well the idle air control valve, I believe, can start with symptoms like that. I cant remember exactly but one of the sensors that help control idle, when they start goin bad, can cause an inability to stabilize idle with the a/c on and excess strain on the electrical system.
