What is the best performing head and intake that is made for ls1 engines that is made by general motors. my dad works for gm and has a cammed corvette and we want to use gm heads and intake and port them.. what is best head and intake combo

If you have to stay with GM, I'd say the hotcam and an LS6 intake.

Or the ls7 stuff but I don't know if that is compatible or not.

The heads and intake wont be compatible. Intake wont fit on stock ls1 or ls6 heads, and the valves on the LS7 heads are too big for the bore on the bottom end. Put those on and you would have the quietest engine ever lol.

this page could go on forever with this question. but imo, i have had the best luck so far with highly ported #243/LS6 heads, and FAST intake/tb's. playing around with dart 225 stuff lately.
