Default Inspection readiness codes

The car is an 02 that had the rear o2's, egr, and air tuned out and has passed inspection on this tune previously. We unhooked the battery to replace a front o2 that went bad and now its showing that the car is "not ready" and threw a p0160 code. The person doing the inspections sadi just drive the car like 100-150 miles and it should set the readiness codes. And that the code it was throwing was not something that would cause it to fail. I went and looked up the code and it is for the rear o2 showing inactivity. Why would it do this if it was tuned out. And since it is tuned out will driving 100 miles set the readiness codes?

Well I'm guessing he's talking about the readiness tests since he said P0160 wouldn't make you fail - unhooking the battery can reset them. Don't know why you'd be getting the code if it was tuned out. Try some gm obdii drivecycles - www.obdii.com/drivecycle.html

ZL1Killa is right, take this to PM. It seems that most open discussions of this matter disappear quickly.
