Default oil pan ?

I have a 4.8 and I'm switching to a f-body pan. My ques is about the windage tray. I bought the f-body one and the last 2 bolt holes don't line up which is no big deal I can elogate the hole but the truck windage tray looks like it will work? What I heard before is the pickup tube wont work out with the truck tray is this right or am I thinking wrong? Let me know Thanks

Yes. the F-Body Tray doesn't cover the first two cyl. as the Pan doesn't allow enough clearance. That is way you need to use all of the F-Body pan, tray, pickup and tube/stick.
