Default Slipping clutch. Worse that could happen?

My clutch is slipping a bit and the engagement on it varies everytime I drive it. Once it is nice and warmed up it seems to run fine.

It slips quite noticeably when it is cold. What is the worste that could happen with it if I drive it regularly? It is my DD after all until winter comes.

Also! I was wondering if there are places out there that will rent you a jack/lift that will get my lowered Fbody high enough to pull the tranny? I am planning to replace the clutch assembly this winter but all I have is a regular jack and jackstands.
