Default are cutouts illegal to have on are cars

[[ mine kinda hangs low ]] and im wondering if its illegal to have theses or
just as long as your shut and only use them at the track........
and yes i did loose some bottom end power, but upper rpms seem
to gain alot of pull ......................

They are legal to have as long as they are closed. Depending on the location they may be legal open.

It depends on sound ordinaces and how strict your local police are. I run my cut out all the time every day around town and have been pulled over with it open with no problems. Around here there are alot of loud car/trucks so as long as your not reving the crap out of it in a development at 3am your good. At the same time I know people with true duals that are way louder than my cutout.
