I know this sounds realy stupid but what is the difference in an A4 and an M6?

A4 = Automatic transmission

M6 = Manual 6 speed transmission

Don't feel too bad lots of people that drive imports don't use the terms A4 or M5/M6 etc either, seems to be less common in other communities.
