Default Mothers back to black?

Anybody use Mothers back to black on the interior? I have a little fading on top of my door panels in the covertible and wondered if they'll take the fading oxidation away? thanks

you would be better off spending your money on a Unicorn locating device.

Vinylex or Meg's #40 would be my choices.

back to black is a horrid product.

I don't like it, you have to buff it on or it will swirl and it is real soupy making it kinda hard to work with. I think those are the reasons why I don't like it. I bought a bottle two years ago, used it once, threw it in the trash, and haven't been tempted to use it again since. I would rather use some Trim Shine, Tire Shine, or some Lexol.

I have used it on the exterior plastic on the cowl with decent results, I would never use it inside the vehicle.

Default Incredible stuff

I certainly would call Mothers first about your particular issue but I will say that Mothers is incredible on black exterior trim. My black trim on another GM car was really 'waxy' white and just oxidized in general. The Back to Black made the trim pieces like NEW after two applications. Just incredible and long lasting too. I think you may have a real good idea with your door panels.

It has no durability, no UV protection, it will turn whatever you put it on a chalky white that is next to impossible to remove .. it has severe run off and bleeding problems when it gets wet ..

Vinylex or Meg's #40 on the interior pieces, 303 Aerospace on the exterior pieces.

if you were to ask the top 500 detailers in this country to list the worst detailing products on the market, Back in Black would be in the top 3, imho. Mother's makes some very good stuff .. B2B isn't onthat list.

I 100% agree with this statement. Back to black sucks it works for like a day and then looks like crap again. I use 303 Aerospace inside and out. Gripraw out of curiosity why do you say use 303 on exterior and not interior? Is it just preference or is there some other reason. I just recently started using it on the interior and it seems to work very well it seem to last a long time to.

personal preference .. I like the look of the Vinylex better .. it isn't a knock against the 303 .. it is an awesome product.
