Default Radio Anntennae

Ok so since I have a pontiac I have that master friggin metal antennae for my radio. The motor went capuk so is there any way I can just get it to the down position? It's stuck in the up position we did disconnect the power to the motor cuz all it did was make noises

same happened to me, I greased it up and forced it down

My car came w/o one when I got it Just the mounting for the mast. I had a 3rd gen one that I planned to shorten, so I did that. Got it all nice looking, went to screw it on and they changed it from 3rd to 4th lol So I had to drill out the mast base more and then I Gorilla Glued it on there haha Works like a charm! Not that I ever listen to the radio! <3 MP3 deck. Looks really nice though since it's about 10" shorter than the normal 50ft antenna (exaggeration of course).

Yea, sorry for off topic. I agree on greasin it up and just pushing it down.
