Default exactly what height to tap for oil return

hey whats up guys im getting ready to put my motor all back together after having my motor forged by lawless engines. i have to do a few things though before doing that and one of them is tapping for and oil return line from the turbo. i searched and found alot of info but no one ever mention exactlty what height to tap it at on the oil pan. I want to keep it a pumpless system (less crap in the engine bay) so i need to tap above the oil level.

You mean the oil feed line??? You tap the part that is bolted on next to your oil filter. Usually a 1/8th NPT (national pipe thread). You can just rent a tap and die set from autozone if you don't have one or want to buy a kit.

Apparently. How much higher could you really go? You think the oil pan is completely full of oil? lol.

In addition to tapping it for the fitting to 3an/4an you will need to drill a hole in the bottom in order for oil to flow through it.
