gto and fbody t56 the same?

gto and fbody t56 the same? Is the t56 in the gto the same as the fbody? I am looking into purchasinga t56 out of a gto and am wondering if i will have any problems putting it in my 02 T/A

Ok i finally was able to search through and find that the trans will bolt right in i just have to swap over all my shifter hardware. Im real excited to get that mn12 in there.
