Default Stubborn quick connector...

I have just spent an hour fighting the white plastic ring on the quick disconnect of the clutch master cylinder to the tranny case. This write-up I found in the sticky says to use two screw drivers to press the white cup toward the tranny and it just pops off. Hah!

Step number nine:

Are there any tools or special tricks or do I need to just keep fighting it until it finally pops loose?

Thanks!

forget the 2 screwdriver bullshit, just use a fuel line disconnect tool.
