torque management what doe's it do Ok i've seen some guys talking about torque management is this something i have to adjust with edit. even if i have a stage 4 flp trans with a vig 3600 convertor. if i do what do you change and what doe's TM do.

Re: torque management what doe's it do TM pulls timing during moments that are "too stressful" on our drivetrains. Most people just zero out all three TM tables in edit, and raise the max torque to 600. That should prevent it from ever kicking in.

Re: torque management what doe's it do What year do you own? TM is worst on 01 and 02 cars although I believe it was fairly bad on 00 cars also. Trust me, if you have TM, you'd know it. A split second before it shifts the car will fill like someone swapped your V8 for a 4 banger and it lasts just past the shift. What actually happens is the PCM takes out a ton of timing to soften the shift and preserve the drivetrain.
