Question about LT1 flywheel.
So I just got a LT1 T56 and I plan to bolt it up to my externally balanced (400 balancer) 1-piece rear main seal 383 stroker.
Initially, I was under the impression/read that the LT1 was internally balanced and that I would have to buy an aftermarket flywheel. But now I am reading that it is externally balanced.
So the stock flywheel should have a marking for the "imbalance" and I can use that with my setup?

Ahh, see I did not know that. So how does that work?
Anyways, I'm still not sure on how to go about this. I do not know what the 400 balancers imbalance (balance weight?) is and what the LT1 flywheel balance weight is. And if they will "match" up. Since the motor was balanced with the 400 balancer, I would like to keep that if at all possible, but I would get and aftermarket flywheel IF I absolutely have to.
