Default 5.3 wiring problems

I am trying to wire up my 5.3 using the gm underhood fuse box. I have been using this , but it appears to before for an older model 5.3. MIne is an 04 with an 04 fuse box and none of the pins or wire colors appear to be the same as the ones listed. Does anyone know what wires I need to use and how do I supply power to the fuse panel?

I built my own fuse panel and relays using a 98 f body harness and computer. Would it be easier to make your own?

Send me your e-mail address and i'll send you the 2005 5.3 with electronic throttle body, 2005 Suburban diagrams. Can't recommend AlldataDIY.com enough though. I got everything I needed to figure my wiring out for $40. Thats for the 96 Blazer and 2005 Suburban info for a year and I didn't need to beg too much for extra wiring help after that.

Sent you some help, hopefully. The stock harness should have a wire that comes from the battery + and bolts to a metal lug on the fuse box. Does your harness have the plug that goes into the fuse box bottom. If so, plug it in. Then you'll have to run wires from the body harness of your car to get ignition power to the ignition on relay on the fuse box. Then fuel pump wire from vehicle to the fuel pump relay terminal on the fuse box. Also supply battery + from fuse box terminal to the junction block on your car. That will supply power to your ignition switch. Check out my entry for powering the tranny on 2005 fuse box. Might be same for yours. Good luck.
